MAC - Girl About Town

Two posts in one evening! I've been feeling pretty inspired and in a bloggy type of mood these past couple of days.
In other news I got a new job today! So for celebratory drinks I whipped out a bright lipstick to reflect the mood. MACS girl about town is my go to super bright pink. It has a kinda blue hue (accidental!) that packs a mean punch. I usually wear this blotted on for a stain but I went for the full hog tonight.

I must also say that it managed to stay on albeit slightly faded after demolishing a plate of enchiladas!

Hope everyones well.

Little Stacking Rings

I usually bypass the jewellery section in New Look however after picking up something for a friend I had a little browse and spotted these beauties. £3.99 for 5 little dainty rings, you cant go wrong! I've already coated them in clear nail varnish in hope they don't start to go all rusty (a pet hate of mine). I usually wear them stacked up but to give you a better view I wore them individually.

You can still get them here - Link!

Soap & Glory - Archery

I didn't need another eye brow product as my current Laura Mercier eye brow pencil was doing the job perfectly. But you go in Boots and the 3 for 2 offer always grabs you. I've never really been interested in the Soap and Glory makeup range (I love the body products!) as the stand in my local boots is really messy and they never have a full stock. However for some reason this weekend was different and this was one of the products I left with.

Its a double ended brow stick - (I chose the colour brownie points) one end is a tint and the other is a crayon. You use the tint end first to shape. Its a really light colour so no dark scouse brow here! Then the crayon on the other end to fill in.

So far so good, for £10 I think this is a good little product. Very handy to keep your eye brows in check. I use this and then brush them through with a spoolie and I'm good to go!

I have a few products to show you guys that I have recently picked up so expect some more review type blogs.

Hope everyone has had an enjoyable Sunday!

REN Facial Skincare Kit for Normal Skin

I have never really been interested in skin care but lately after a horrible breakout I decided I needed to invest in some miracle workers. I mean there isn't really much point spending a lot of money on makeup if my skin is always crappy.

I bought this little box of REN goodies from here. They are all teeny travel sizes - perfect for testing out before committing to the full size.

The Glycolactic Radiance Renewal mask has been pretty well blogged about and I can definitely see why. After once use my skin appeared smoother, brighter and softer. I also sampled the day cream under my makeup today and it appears very matte and makes my skin glow. Thumbs up all round for this set so far. Need to test out the cleansing gel now. Its also great if your going on holiday anywhere and need some handy sizes.

Next on my wish list is some alpha gold goodies!

Hope your all well,

Happy New Year! + Zara Sale Finds.

First of all I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and New Year!

I only recently ventured out to the sales as I couldn't face the masses of people. I was only interested in going to Zara (like the thousands of others it seemed!) What was left was pretty poor however I managed to find two gems both of which were £19.99 and both leopard print. Very odd for me as I don't really own anything leopard-y(?) I found these shoes in a big pile of tshirts in my size, definitely fate or someone was trying to hide them and come back later - Apologies!

Anyways I am trying to make more time to blog as I have really missed posting regularly so watch this space and see if I stick to my word.
